Blood Type
Blood type testing includes an ABORh test and antibody screen. The ABORh test determines your blood type and the antibody screen tests your blood for antigens and antibodies that may cause transfusion reactions when receiving a donor's blood.
Hemoglobin A1C
Measures the percentage of hemoglobin in red blood cells that is glycated (has sugar attached). This reflects the average blood glucose levels over the past 2 to 3 months, since red blood cells live about 120 days.
Apolipoprotein B
Measures the level of apolipoprotein B in the blood, a protein component of LDL (low-density lipoprotein, the “bad” cholesterol).
Beta-hCG
Measures the amount of beta human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the blood. hCG is a hormone produced during pregnancy, and this test quantifies its level.
Cortisol
Measures the level of cortisol in the blood. Cortisol is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal glands that helps regulate metabolism, blood pressure, and the body’s stress response.
CRP
Measures the level of C-reactive protein in the blood. CRP is a protein produced by the liver that rises when there is inflammation in the body.
DHEA-Sulfate
Measures the level of dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S) in the blood. DHEA-S is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands that serves as a precursor to sex hormones like estrogen and testosterone.
Ferritin
Measures the level of ferritin in the blood. Ferritin is a protein that stores iron in your body, so this test reflects the amount of stored iron available.
Folate
Measures the level of folate (vitamin B9) in the blood. Folate is a B-vitamin important for red blood cell production and other metabolic processes.
Free T3
Measures the level of free triiodothyronine (free T₃) in the blood. Free T3 is the unbound, active form of one of the thyroid hormones that help regulate metabolism.
Free T4
Measures the level of free thyroxine (free T₄) in the blood. Free T4 is the unbound form of the main thyroid hormone, which is available to tissues and helps control metabolism.
FSH
Measures the level of follicle-stimulating hormone in the blood. FSH is a pituitary hormone that plays a key role in reproduction, stimulating growth of ovarian follicles in women and sperm production in men.
Insulin
Measures the level of insulin in the blood. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that helps regulate blood sugar (glucose) levels.
Iron Total
Measures the total amount of iron in the blood. This test quantifies iron that is bound to transferrin in the bloodstream.
LH
Measures the level of luteinizing hormone in the blood. LH is a hormone from the pituitary gland that triggers ovulation in women and stimulates testosterone production in men.
Magnesium
Measures the level of magnesium in the blood. Magnesium is an essential mineral important for muscle and nerve function, heart rhythm, and bone strength.
Phosphorus
Measures the level of phosphorus (as phosphate) in the blood. Phosphorus is a mineral important for bone structure, energy production, and cell function.
Progesterone
Measures the level of progesterone in the blood. Progesterone is a hormone involved in the menstrual cycle and is crucial for maintaining pregnancy in women.
Prolactin
Measures the level of prolactin in the blood. Prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland that stimulates breast milk production (lactation) and has other roles in reproductive health.
PSA Free
Measures the level of free prostate-specific antigen in the blood. Free PSA is the portion of PSA (a protein produced by the prostate gland) that is not bound to other proteins in the blood.
PSA Total
Measures the total level of prostate-specific antigen in the blood (both free and protein-bound PSA combined). PSA is a protein produced by prostate tissue.
SHBG
Measures the level of sex hormone-binding globulin in the blood. SHBG is a protein that binds to sex hormones like testosterone and estrogen, which affects how much of those hormones are available to tissues.
Total T3
Measures the total level of triiodothyronine (T3) in the blood, including both T3 that is bound to carrier proteins and the free (active) T3. T3 is a thyroid hormone that helps regulate metabolism.
Total T4
Measures the total level of thyroxine (T4) in the blood, including both protein-bound and free T4. T4 is the main hormone produced by the thyroid gland, which is converted to T3 in the body.
TSH
Measures the level of thyroid-stimulating hormone in the blood. TSH is produced by the pituitary gland and regulates the thyroid gland; it signals the thyroid to produce T3 and T4 hormones.
Vitamin B12
Measures the level of vitamin B6 in the blood. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is a water-soluble vitamin important for metabolism and brain function.
Vitamin D, 25-OH
Measures the level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in the blood, which is the main circulating form of vitamin D used to assess vitamin D status. It reflects vitamin D obtained from sunlight exposure and diet.
Food Allergy
"Our Food Allergy Panel is designed to help identify sensitivities and allergic reactions to some of the most common foods that may impact your daily health. By measuring your body’s immune response to these foods, this panel can uncover hidden triggers behind digestive discomfort, skin irritation, respiratory issues, inflammation, and fatigue. This panel tests for reactions to: Chicken, Egg White, Lettuce, Cow’s Milk, Orange, Peanut, Rye, Soybean, Tomato, Wheat, Oat, Potato, Corn, Beef, Pork, Barley, and Malt."
Free Testosterone
A panel that measures total testosterone and other parameters (such as sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) and albumin) to calculate the amount of free (unbound) testosterone in the blood. In short, it determines how much testosterone is circulating freely versus bound to proteins.
